On September 30th Joe DeGuardia's Star Boxing will present its second installment of VIP Boxing at the beautiful Russo's On The Bay in Howard Beach, NY. Headlining the show will be Star Boxing's heavyweight prospect, the 2004 U.S. Olympic Team Captain, "Devastatin" Devin Vargas (17-1, 7KO) taking on Terrell "Baby Bull" Nelson (8-8, 5KO).

Monday September 14th marked the second meeting of the much anticipated formation of the Boxing Promoters Association (BPA). Progress continued to be made in this historic venture, as once again close to thirty of the United States top promoters met together at the Roosevelt Hotel in New York City.

Tonight when Demetrius Andrade (6-0, 5KO) steps into the ring in front of his hometown fans at the Twin River Event Center in Lincoln, RI, he may be stepping in against his toughest opponent to date as a professional, fellow undefeated prospect John Williams (3-0-1, 2KO). The fight is scheduled for six rounds in the jr. middleweight division.

On Friday September 4th, Providence, Rhode Island's newest favorite son, the 2007 amateur world champion, and 2008 U.S. Olympian, Demetrius "Boo Boo" Andrade (6-0, 5KO) will look to put on yet another spectacular showing in front of his hometown fans when he takes on fellow unbeaten John Williams (3-0-1, 2KO) in the co-feature bout of the evening at the beautiful Twin River Event Center, in Lincoln, Rhode Island.
