PRAISES PACQUIAO COTTO SUCCESS

It is my pleasure, on behalf of the Boxing Promoter's Association (BPA), to congratulate our sport in once again showing that BOXING is truly desired by fans.
The Top Rank-promoted fight between Manny Pacquiao and Miguel Cotto last week exceeded 1.25 million buys and generated over $70 million in domestic pay-per-view revenue. According to the Nevada State Athletic Commission, Pacquiao-Cotto also generated a live gate of 15,930 fans from all over the world, making it the 14th highest grossing sporting event in the state's history, all for which were BOXING events.

On Thursday December 3rd in the Grand Ballroom at the Manhattan Center "The Real Million Dollar Baby" Maureen Shea (13-2, 7KO) will look to fulfill a life-long dream by capturing a world championship when she takes on Jenna Shiver (9-4-1, 2KO) for the interim WBA Female Super Bantamweight Title on the Joe DeGuardia Star Boxing promoted "Hustler Boxing" card. The bout, which is being aired live on Versus (the first ever televised female championship on the network), is scheduled for ten rounds in the 122 lb. division.

It is rare in boxing when you see two prospects at such an early stage of their career put their undefeated records on the line against on another. But on December 3rd, on Joe DeGuardia's Star Boxing premiere installment of his new collaborative series "Hustler Boxing" with Larry Flynt's Hustler Club-NYC, you will see just that when Star Boxing's "The New" Ray Robinson (11-0, 4KO) takes on Brad Solomon (8-0, 3KO) in a must see welterweight showdown between two unbeaten, up and coming prospects. The bout is scheduled for six rounds in the welterweight division and is one of the co-feature bouts of the evening. "Huster Boxing" will take place in the Grand Ballroom at New York City's famous Manhattan Center, and will be broadcast live on the nationally televised Versus Network.

When Star Boxing's IBF #3 rated welterweight Delvin Rodriguez (24-3-2, 14KO) steps into the ring against Poland's IBF #4 rated Rafal "Braveheart" Jackiewicz (34-8-1, 18KO) for the #1 spot in the IBF World Ratings in an official IBF Welterweight Title eliminator in Elk, Poland on Friday November 27th, Rodriguez doesn't intend to leave any questioning in the outcome of the fight.

On Saturday Star Boxing's welterweight prospect Raymond "Tito" Serrano improved his record to a perfect (11-0, 6KO) winning a six round unanimous decision over game forty eight fight veteran Anthony Bowman. The bout was one of the co-feature bouts of the evening on the "Boxing's Future Champions III" card at Fitzgerald's Casino & Hotel in Tunica, Mississippi.
