Exciting Philadelphian heavyweight, Joey Dawejko (2-0, 1KO) has been added to the Star Boxing promoted card, this Saturday night at the Tropicana Casino and Resort in Atlantic City. Dawejko will square off against Kimani Cunningham (0-2) over four rounds. The card is headlined by Shamone "The Truth" Alvarez (20-2, 11KO) taking on Alexis Camacho (17-2, 16KO) and will be broadcast live on GoFightLive.tv.

STAR BOXING ALL SET FOR
MARCH 6TH AT TROPICANA

A few weeks ago, on February 5th and 6th, a monster snowstorm dumped over two feet of snow on Atlantic City, bringing much of the city to a standstill. The storm forced Star Boxing's exciting event at the Tropicana Casino and Resort, to be postponed until Saturday March 6th. Although the storm was unfortunate, the majority of the card, including both the main event and co-feature bouts of the evening as well as almost the entire undercard, which feature many of the New Jersey area's up and coming talent, remain intact for the March 6th date.

Joe DeGuardia, CEO and founder of Star Boxing, and Art Pelullo, CEO of Banner Promotions, would like to wish Demetrius "Boo Boo" Andrade (9-0, 7KO) a happy 22nd. birthday. Andrade who is co-promoted by both DeGuardia and Pelullo, will be in action on the Star Boxing promoted card on April 2nd at Mohegan Sun Resort and Casino in Uncasville, CT. The undefeated Andrade will open up the ESPN2 "Friday Night Fights" telecast.

Tickets are on sale for Star Boxing's upcoming show Saturday March 6th at the Tropicana Casino and Resort in Atlantic City, NJ. The show was originally scheduled to take place on February 6th, but had to be postponed due to the severe winter storm that hit Atlantic City and the surrounding New Jersey areas.

STORM POSTPONES SATURDAY NIGHT ATLANTIC CITY FIGHT CARD

In light of the major snow storm expected to hit the Atlantic City area, Tropicana Casino and Resort and Star Boxing have decided to postpone Saturday night's boxing show until Saturday March 6th, noting major concern for the safety of traveling fans, fight participants and the general public welfare.
